21 years building things. The job has not changed: take an idea and make it stand up.
I have been building things for 21 years. It started with small sites and games I made for myself, and it never really stopped. The tools kept changing, the habit did not.
Today I build web and mobile products end to end: product thinking, design, code and the server it runs on. Flutter and Swift on mobile, WordPress and plain JavaScript on the web, Python and Three.js when a project asks for them. I run my own infrastructure, so "done" means deployed, not merged.
I am the founder of datamonkeys.ai, where the same work happens for other people: MVPs, AI products and the unglamorous parts that make them last. Between client projects I keep a lab of my own builds: agent tooling, engines and desktop experiments. That is where most of what I learn comes from.

Something working in front of real people teaches more than a perfect plan does. The first version goes out early.
